Welcome to WIRED CAFE Frente Meidaimae, a delightful coffee spot nestled in the vibrant Matsubara district of Setagaya City, Tokyo. Located on the second floor of the Frenté Meidaimae shopping complex, this cafe is your perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether you're looking to relax with a book, catch up with friends, or grab a quick bite, WIRED CAFE offers an inviting ambiance that's hard to resist.

As you step in, the calming atmosphere envelops you, thanks to the soft lighting and cozy interiors that invite you to linger over a cup of artisan coffee or a delectable dish. The silence, occasionally broken by pleasant chatter, creates a perfect setting for your thoughts to flow freely. Many visitors, like Todd Hooper, have praised the cafe for its chill vibe, making it ideal for productive meetings or enjoyable catch-ups over specialty drinks and mouthwatering nachos.

Speaking of food, the menu here is artfully crafted to cater to a variety of palates. A standout dish is the Waffle Chicken (ワッフルチキン), expertly prepared and served with a drizzle of rich maple syrup. It’s a comforting yet sophisticated meal that you'll find yourself craving again and again. For those who enjoy breakfast treats, Liliana Zilka raves about their French toast, claiming it’s among the best she’s had in Japan. Paired with their carefully brewed drip coffee—available at an appealing price of just ¥190 for refills—your taste buds are in for a delightful experience.

If you prefer something a little more indulgent, the cafe also offers a selection of wines, including the Santa Carolina Cabernet Sauvignon, perfect for sipping as you unwind or socialize. The ambiance is invigorated further with the sweet melodies playing in the background, creating an overall enjoyable dining experience that Dale K Higgins describes as one where you can relish great food without the annoyance of smoke—thanks to their no-smoking policy.

For those looking for a peaceful retreat or even a quick escape from the crowded cafes surrounding the station, WIRED CAFE Frente Meidaimae provides a serene option. With a friendly staff who are eager to help, it’s also a place where you can feel comfortable whether you are alone like Daniel or enjoying the company of a couple of friends. The café's image as a hidden gem is solidified by both its quality offerings and the warm reception provided by its team.

Don't miss out on this charming cafe during your next adventure in Tokyo; it offers more than just good food and coffee—it promises an experience where the service is as delightful as the menu itself. Come in, unwind, and let the comforting flavors wash over you.

I was looking for a coffee shop for a group of colleagues. The Starbucks and Dotour didn’t have any seats, but we were fortunate to find this place. It has a chill vibe, so it was easy to relax. We had specialty drinks and nachos. The nachos were very tasty and everyone was satisfied with their drinks. If I’m in the area again, I would come here.

Quiet and relaxing spot on the second floor, beside a pizzeria and a bookstore. Good food, great place to spend time alone or with a friend or two.

Cute place and some of the best French toast I had in Japan “Oishī” English friendly and picture menu. Highly recommended!

Great cafe to enjoy a bite of great food and favorite drink or something sweet like parfaits that are so good. Now no smoking so you can enjoy your meal without a smokey smell.

The place doesn’t have a bad environment and if you get there at 11 there’s nobody. People start coming in by for lunch at 12. It is a good alternative if all the other cafes around the station are full. The sodas/ginger ales weren’t the best, but looks like the food options are not bad.
